We'll continue to work on making the law accessible for parents and grandparents, and the TCM Factsheets have come about following approaches from parents and grandparents for information not covered in The Custody Minefield Book. We welcome feedback and suggestions, and if there is an area of family  or family related law, court procedures or matters related to proceedings which hasn't yet been covered, please let us know what you'd like us to provide.

Employment Law...Did you know?

Mothers and fathers, on having completed one year of service with an employer, are entitled to up to 13 weeks unpaid parental leave for their child (in total, not each year).

You are legally entitled to take a reasonable amount of unpaid leave to deal with an emergency or unexpected event which involves your child.
